The International Fund for Cultural Diversity is a means to support the implementation of the 2005 Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions, by fostering the emergence of a dynamic cultural sector in developing countries. The fund supports public authorities and institutions, as well as NGOs from developing countries that are Parties to the Convention. All 6 Eastern Partnership countries are eligible. The calls for proposals are usually announced once a year. The IFCD supports projects that lead to structural change and cover policy and strategy introduction and/or elaboration, as well as reinforcement of corresponding institutional infrastructures including professional capacities and organizational structures capable to support local and regional cultural industries and markets.

The IFPC is aimed to promote cultures as sources of knowledge, meanings, values and identity; the role of culture for sustainable development; artistic creativity in all its forms, while respecting freedom of expression; and international and regional cultural cooperation. The IFPC provides financial support on the basis of call for proposals for the cultural and artistic projects of creators in developing countries; culture and development strategies and programmes; the reinforcement of national mechanisms, structures and facilities whose purpose is to support cultural activities and artistic creators in developing countries; and the organization of exchanges to foster international cooperation support cultural and artistic projects.

This is the web-site of the ENI CBC programme for 2014-2020 that facilitates transnational cooperation among countries around the Baltic Sea for a more innovative, better accessible and sustainable Baltic Sea region. The funding is mainly directed at public authorities, research and training institutions, NGOs, sectoral agencies & associations and enterprises. Under the priority “Capacity for innovation” the programme will support e.g. development of innovation infrastructures, implementation of smart specialisation strategies and development of non-technological innovations. Apart of the EU member states, the programme involves the EU partner countries including Belarus. However, before the programme can grant EU funding to Belarusian partners, Financing Agreement between the Government of the country and the EC will have to be negotiated and concluded.
