Up to € 50,000 for your idea!

Advocate Europe is looking for original and transnational project proposals that foster connection and cohesion in Europe

At the end of January, Advocate Europe will open its online platform.

For six weeks you can propose non-profit ideas, initiatives and prototypes of projects that foster connection and cohesion in Europe. Ideas that transform Europe and show that a different future is possible. Ideas which demonstrate that when active and engaged people come together they can co-create a different way of handling crises. Ideas of a Europe defined by possibilities, not by limits.

Advocate Europe is open to civil society actors who seek financing and support to realise sustainable ideas. These can come from fields as diverse as social innovation, arts and culture, or civic education.

Up to twelve winning proposals will receive funding of up to € 50,000 each, as well as mentoring and support. Download the Advocate Europe idea sketch (https://goo.gl/KiYdyq) and prepare your proposal for submission. Stay tuned to the page https://facebook.com/advocate.europe.challenge/.

The winners of the 2015 challenge, selected from among 575 proposals submitted from 39 countries, include the online platform “Refugees Welcome” starting a new culture of welcome by matching refugees and residents with a free room in their homes, the festival “WATCH DOCS” connecting film makers and human rights activists exploring untold human rights stories in Europe as well as the innovation camp “POC21” prototyping new forms of sustainable living based on open source technologies.
