Culture Bridges: the first call for grant applications is now open to funding mobility and cooperation projects

Culture Bridges is a new programme that supports the development of the cultural sector in Ukraine and enables it to engage more effectively with cultural organisations and operators in the EU.

Culture Bridges is funded by the European Union and managed by the British Council in partnership with the European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC).

The programme will fund a range of activities including international mobility, national and international cultural cooperation projects, as well as training sessions and study visits to the EU member states. Over 100 grants are planned to be awarded over the next three years. Other opportunities offered by the programme include joint arts and culture projects developed by EUNIC, and support to Creative Europe applicants from Ukraine and the EU.

The first call for grant applications is now open to funding mobility and cooperation projects. Further calls for proposals under Culture Bridges will be made every three months in 2018 and 2019.

Application forms, eligibility of applicants, evaluation criteria, deadlines and other terms and conditions are available on the programme webpage: http://www.britishcouncil.org.ua/en/culture-bridges.

For enquiries about the application process please contact CultureBridges@britishcouncil.org.ua.

The British Council will not advise on the content of applications and cannot provide support with completing the application forms.
