
Nine options for the government to stimulate growth in the cultural sector

In the last 25 years, Moldova has been trying to implement policies and tools from European countries in various sectors. Due to economic problems and social issues to be solved first, Culture and Education have been put aside until better times. Which seem to be late. Only recently, due to Moldova’s assumptions in the Eastern Partnership and the Association Agreement some improvements can be recorded. The Ministry of Culture of Moldova has initiated some dialogue with independent players and it should bring results in the years to come. That is why the Cultural Organizations should insist on a constant involvement in the Ministry’s activities, especially in designing the policies that concern them.
