The Best in Heritage is a unique professional event for those who work with cultural heritage. It is an annual survey of awarded museum, heritage and conservation projects, proclaimed the best in the previous year on national, international or regional levels.

This year, 28 projects have been selected to be featured. The project authors will be presented on stage at the “Marin Držić” Theatre during the two conference days.

The gathering is exceptional, since it brings together experienced veterans and ambitious, creative newcomers from many professions in the field of cultural heritage. At it, a great number of new or updated projects from all over the world may become known to the international professional community.

All attendees will see best of the best competing and get overwhelmingly inspired.

The conference is sponsored by the International Council of Museums (IСОМ) in partnership with EUROPA NOSTRA and supported by the Dubrovnik Mayor’s office and the Croatian Ministry of Culture.
