Culture Bridges Announces the sixth International Mobility Grant Open Call

Applicants may request funding for study tours, internships, residencies, professional development programmes or partnership development meetings occurring in EU member states and the reverse – representatives from any EU country may request mobility grant to Ukraine for similar purposes.

Overall, in the five previous Culture Bridges competitions 1,796 project grant applications were submitted – of these 883 for mobility grants. The majority of applications were for study tours and conference attendance in the following areas: creative hubs and cooperation platforms, festivals, the visual and audio-visual arts (cinema, television, multimedia). The submission deadline for grant applications is 11 April 2019. Travel duration for submitted projects may last from one to four weeks. International Mobility awards include grants of up to €2,250 for trips of two weeks or less and €4,000 for trips lasting from two to four weeks.

The Culture Bridges programme is implemented by the British Council working in partnership with the EU National Institutes of Culture (EUNIC) network in Ukraine. The programme runs from November 2017 to October 2020 with a total budget of €1,363,000. At least 100 grants are planned to be awarded in 2018 and 2019.
