This is an opportunity to sharpen your skills and understanding in 1)strategic planning, 2)project cycle management, 3)audience development and communication in the cultural sector and more. Select participants will be eligible for funding to apply to their cultural project. This series of workshops is developed and maintained by Another Education with support of local and national professionals working in the field of culture.
Preference in selection for the conference will be given to applicants with practical experience in cultural initiatives and management. Greater weight will be applied to an applicant's stated motivation to learn and understanding of how the acquired skills will be applied; less important is the duration and scale of the applicant's project.
Workshop eligibility is limited to residents of participating cities and the surrounding oblast/region. In addition to the programme, the organisers will provide materials and meals during the event. Participants who commute from other towns in the region will be provided with accommodation and reimbursed for travel expenses.
If you'd like to take part at a workshop in your town, the deadline to submit your completed application is 25 September.
The results of this open call will be announced by 10 October.
