GET $20 000 FOR PRODUCTION OF A SHORT FILM

The ScreenCraft media company jointly with Bondit media fund established a grant program for filmmakers

ScreenCraft accepts for considerations screenplays of short films of all genres, guaranteeing production on at least one project per quarter and up to ten projects per year. Grants will range from $10,000 to $20,000

This short film production grant program comes after ScreenCrafts short screenplay competition.

In administering the short screenplay competition it became exceedingly clear to us that there is an undeserved international community of writers and filmmakers with exceptional short film projects in need of funding and support,” says ScreenCraft co-founder Cameron Cubbison.

The selection of short screenplays will be done on the basis of originality, story, characterization and visual inventiveness. The program will also provide consulting packages worth over $7,000 to the selected projects, giving guidance for production, crowd-funding, festival strategy and distribution opportunities etc.

The program also includes career development in the ScreenCraft, Bondit and Buffalo 8 Productions teams.

The companies are especially looking for short projects that have potential for feature film and/or series adaptation.

Access to reliable financing for short form content is a continuing challenge for many deserving filmmakers and we're excited to offer this opportunity,” says Bondit’s co-founder Matthew Helderman.
